Getting To Know Us

• Our philosophy: Quality child care means providing Whole Child Development and focusing on your child's academic, social, emotional and physical development needs.
• Foster City Preschool and Daycare Center is open Monday through Friday from 6:45 a.m. to 6 p.m. Our full-time programs run from 6:45 a.m. to 6 p.m. Our part-time programs run 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with lunch or 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. without lunch. We also have afternoon programs which are either 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. These are the operational hours of our programs available but you can choose your own hours within each time frame.
• Our programs include a nutritious warm lunch that is catered daily and served family style. The Center also provides a morning and afternoon snack and all the children enjoy daily naptime.
• Foster City Preschool and Daycare Center accepts non-English speaking students, because being around other children speaking English is a great way for children to learn.
• Our staffing requirements exceed California State requirements. Children benefit from the very low student to teacher ratios: 9 to 1 ratio for 2 year olds and 12 to 1 ratio for 3 to 6 year olds.
